Branson supports the concept of Relationship Strength both inside and outside of companies.

Senteo CEO Michael Ruckman joined Sir Richard Branson and other speakers in a conference at the Skolkovo School of Management in Moscow this week.  Ruckman presented on the topic of Relationship Centricity to a group of almost 200 bankers shortly before Branson’s interview and Q&A session.  Branson, among many things, stated that the quality of relationships between companies and their employees and customers drives the overall success of the organization.  He also shared his philosophy that employees that are happy and engaged in the relationship will work harder to keep customers happy and engaged, which, ultimately, will keep shareholders happy and engaged.  While most organizations have this in reverse order, Branson feels that this philosophy has lead to the ongoing success of many of the Virgin Group companies.

The conference was held on October 23rd with speakers from several countries and included topics such as entrepreneurial management, banking in the age of social networking, crowd sourcing, and online bank product customization.  While some speakers presented that banks will continue to be commoditized and increasingly distant from customers, some presenters, including Branson and Ruckman, believe that a mutually beneficial relationship between bank and customer can provide significant competitive advantage. Branson noted that his Virgin Money bank now issues one out of every three mortgages in the U.K., just a few years after it was taken over as the broken Northern Rock.

David Kerstein Rates Senteo as a "Company to Watch" in His Summary of Winning New Technologies

David Kerstein rates Senteo as a “company to watch” in his summary of Winning New Technologies from the BAI Retail Delivery Conference last week.

In his summary of the top 5 Winning New Technologies that were exhibited during the expo portion of the BAI Retail Deliver conference, which was held in Washington DC October 9 – 11, 2012, David commented the following

“But I have one more to add:   Senteo, which was exhibiting for the first time at Retail Delivery. Although headquartered in Nevada, almost all of their work has been outside of the U.S. I’ve known about their outstanding success in transforming the branch experience and creating strong revenue growth, and it was a pleasure to reconnect with their founder, Michael Ruckman. This is a company to watch.”

Senteo founder Michael Ruckman and Partner Tom Mouhsian also presented on the topic of Relationship Centric Banking while at the conference amongst other speakers Sir Richard Branson, Aaron Dignan, Guy Kawasaki, and Jonathan Salem Baskin.

Senteo Makes a Pink Splash at the BAI Retail Delivery Conference

This year at the BAI Retail Delivery Conference, Senteo developed a love theme centered around the concept of,  “things that you love about your bank”?  In support of the theme,  Senteo created an iPad questionnaire for conference participants to answer specific questions about their current banking relationship vs. what they desire to have in their banking relationships.  The results are then regularly summarized and shown on the big screen in the booth.  With the pink and white colors, the booth is a standout from the rest of the booths at the conference.

Later today, Michael will be sharing his new and innovated ideas about customer relationship during his presentation, The Blueprint for the Relationship Centric Bank.
